TWO TATTOOS,
ONE PIECE OF SKIN

The colour work holds the piece together in daylight.

The UV ink sits inside it, waiting.

NATURE
GOT IT FIRST

Fluorescence isn't a new innovation.

Our nature's been glowing quietly for a very long time.

WHAT ARE
UV/NEON INKS

It does not glow
in the dark

UV ink fluoresces, which means it needs a blacklight shining on it to light up.
Put it in a pitch-black room with no UV source and nothing happens.
Glow sticks work differently — they use phosphorescent compounds, and
those have no business being under anyone's skin.

How it'll look

Depending on the pigment, UV ink is either close to invisible or reads like
normal colour tattoo ink. That's what makes it unique. It can work as an
standlone uv/neon piece or can be easily merged with black&grey or colour
designs.

It lasts like a
normal tattoo

Roughly as long as anything else I'd put on you. The exception is the
near-invisible pigments, electric blue especially, which may want a touch-up.

Your skin
decides the rest

Placement, skin type and how much sun the area sees will change how it ages
more than the ink will. Forearms that live outdoors fade faster than ribs.

Inks I use

I’ve experimented with quite a few UV ink brands over the year, and I’ve
always made it a rule to test the ink on myself before it ever goes near a client.
So far, neither I nor the people I’ve worked with have experienced an allergic or
any reaction from the inks except "Whoa that's so cool!!"

I also stick to reputable, certified UV/neon tattoo inks and keep a close eye on
how they perform overtime. That said, everyone’s skin is different, and
no tattoo ink can be guaranteed reaction-free—so please discuss the ink,
your skin, and any concerns with your artist beforehand. UV may be fun,
but when it comes to your skin, I keep the glow professional.

I'm Aditya Bhuta- easier to call me Adi.

I started tattooing about a year ago, but I come from a graphic design background. My obsession with neon art eventually pulled me deeper into the world of UV, fluorescence, and blacklight— eventually leading me to tattooing.

What I’m really good at is the merge—creating a design that stands confidently on its own in black & grey or colour, while hiding a second layer within it that only comes alive under blacklight.

A tattoo with a secret side, revealed only when you want it to be.

When I’m not tattooing, I’m still creating—and I photograph too.

Different mediums, same obsession: finding a unique way to make things glow.
